Transient Metamorphoses
19 – 25 October, 2025
Form, materials and Languages in transit
Presented as part of Rome Art Week, the exhibition project Transient Metamorphoses reflects on the instability of the contemporary world and the shifting nature of the forms that inhabit it.
At the core of this research lies the paradox of transformation: that which changes always leaves a trace, yet the resulting form is destined to be transient. The exhibition brings together the voices of artists with diverse languages and techniques, invited to engage with the concepts of precarious balance and transience.
The installation by Vethan Sautour (“Origami Gone – Moorean Viviparous Tree Snail”) serves as the conceptual anchor of the narrative. Through an essential investigation into paper, the artist constructs minimal geometries that evoke lost organic forms, placing the tension between presence and dissolution at the center of the work.
In resonance with this piece, the exhibition path unfolds through various media, creating a visual and formal short circuit. Moving between dense matter and ephemeral elements, abstraction and figuration, the featured artworks piece together a map of a world in constant motion—where the only constant is art’s ability to capture change as it occurs
